Cill Aodáin & Nowhere Else

Terry McDonagh and artist, Sally McKenna are working on an illustrated collection of poetry, Cill Aodáin & Nowhere Else. Cill Aodáin is Terry McDonagh’s birthplace. The book is to be a hardback, limited edition, signed and numbered. It is due for publication in late summer 2008.

Dunfries, Galloway and Wigtown

Ger Reidy and I spent 10 wonderful days in Scotland wher we read and workshopped in schools, libraries and read at the marvellous festival in Scotland’s Booktown: Wigtown. We met and read with with old friends Rab Wilson and John Hudson.Rab introduced us to the real world of Robert Burns and John to Bakehouse where he organises readings and exhibitions with Chrys Salt. Literature officer, Andy Forster, of Dumfries and Gallowy Arts Association made it all possible. Thanks Andy.

Edge07 in Ballina

Thanks to Sean Walsh who made us feel so much at home during the Ballina Edge07. It was a wonderful succes. This year we celebrated On The Road by Jack kerouac, which was published 50 years ago this year. Also thanks to Ballina Library for making us feel welcome.
